The quarian Tali'Zorah nar Rayya, better known as Tali, is one of Shepard's most loyal companions in all three parts of Mass Effect. While this is certainly related to her excellent skills as a technician and engineer, it is not just that. How close her relationship is with Shepard is, of course, something you control during the game. Either way, though, Admiral Rael'Zorah's daughter is an irreplaceable member of the Normandy's crew!
